Harley Davidson Thermostatic Engine Oil Cooler Adapter

Item Description and Usability:
· Full-Flow sandwich adapter with 3/8” NPT ports
· Fits Most Older (pre-twin-cam engines, single-cam 1999 and earlier) Harley Davidson, Indian, Buell & Moto Guzzi motorcycles that have 3/4"-16 oil filter threads.
· Attaches where oil filter was, then attach oil filter to adapter.
Simplifies engine oil cooler installation; the thermostat allows quick warm ups and controlled cooling; oil starts to go to the cooler at 160 degrees F and all oil flows through the cooler at 180 degrees. Oil is always routed through the oil filter! Engine oil lasts twice as long with every 20 degree drop in temperature!!!
· Works with Stock Oil Filter, FRAM Oil Filters PH: 3614, 6022 & 6065A or equivalent!
· Adapter is only 1 5/8" thick (you must have 1 5/8" clearance to mount this adapter). Please note that for some Electra Glide, the mounting bolt that comes in the kit may need to be shortened 1/4" to work properly.
· Made in the U.S.A.

· One Oil Cooler/Filter Sandwich Adapter
(Other adapters shown for display; you get 1 complete sandwich adapter kit.)
· Two 3/8" HB x 3/8" NPT Chrome fittings
· Two 3/8” SS hose clamps
· ¾”-16 Thread x 2 3/16” Length male to female nut/bolt connector
· One 2 ¾” O-ring
Further Notes:
ATTENTION!!!! Outside Diameter Of Your Oil Filter Gasket Must Be At Least 2 1/2" Width Across In Order To Seal Properly.
Measurements:
From back to front of ports is (3 3/8") Across (3") Thickness (1 5/8")
Gasket (2 3/4" O.D. and 2 7/16" I.D.)
No exhaustive knowledge as to what model or year cycle this adapter fits, for it fits many.
Please note the measurements above, especially that of the gasket. If you can measure your mount area on the engine block or the oil filter, you can determine.
