Brand New Heavy Duty/High Volume/Low Pressure Drop Remote Thermostatic Engine Oil Filter/Cooler Adapter Kit
Item Description and Usability:
· Spin-on adapter attaches to block (where old oil filter was) and relocates the oil filter and thermostatic adapter and OPTIONAL cooler to a good place. Engine oil always goes thru the filter.
· Spin-on remote filter adapter fits all engines having 3/4"-16 oil filter threads. Thermostat (4th picture) starts to direct oil to cooler at 160 degrees F and fully at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostatic adapter rotates 360 degrees for easy installation.
· Fits the newer hotter running fuel injected and twin-cam motors!
· Greatly Simplifies engine oil cooler installation.
· Upgrade Filter not included-for display only!!!
· Use stock or upgrade filter (best choice) full size Fram XG8A, AMSOIL EaO15, etc. or equivalent. Upgrade filter adds a quart of oil to your system; is low pressure drop; increases flow rate and has 100X the particulate filtering capacity. Every 20 degree F temperature drop doubles the life of the oil and doubles the life of the engine!
